NSW parents sentenced to lengthy jail terms for sexually abusing daughter

A judge has imposed lengthy jail terms on a couple who sexually abused and tortured their daughter over a 15 year period. The 59 year old father was found guilty of 73 offences including raping his daughter repeatedly from when she was five years old. He's been sentenced to 48 years in prison. The girl's 51 year old mother received a 16 year sentence with a minimum of 11 years. She was convicted of 13 offences including child rape. The couple cannot be identified for legal reasons.
