Number of immigrants expected to drop in 2018

Although the government has officially denied a secret plan is underway to decrease number of immigrants by 20 thousand this year, an acutal drop in the numbers is expected this year due to expanded powers for the Minister of Immigration which could lead to tightning of checks and screening processes and therefore, lower numbers of entrants.
