One dead after two Vic divers hit by boat

Two divers were hit by a boat and emergency crews have been called to a suburban Melbourne pier.

Two divers have been hit by a boat near the Frankston Pier, and Ambulance Victoria is on scene.

Paramedics were called to the pier about 1pm on Sunday and met the boat with the two men in their 20s, assessing one of the divers as having no obvious injuries.

Questions about the second diver are being referred to police and Victoria Police has been contacted for comment
