The family of a man accused of fatally shooting two people and wounding 13 others on a busy Toronto street say he struggled with severe mental illness.
Less than a day after a 10-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman were killed in the shooting, the suspect was identified as Faisal Hussain, a 29-year-old Toronto resident.
Authorities say he was found dead shortly after the shooting.
Toronto Police chief Mark Saunders says the investigation is continuing to seek out what Hussain's motive was.
