Russia knock out Spain and Croatia defeat Denmark both on penalties

Croatia defeated Denmark 3-2 on penalties to book a 2018 FIFA World Cup quarter-final clash against hosts Russia, with their round of 16 clash finishing 1-1 after extra-time on Monday morning (AEST).

Meanwhile, Russia stunned Spain, knocking them out 4-3 on penalties to move into the 2018 FIFA World Cup quarter-finals, with their round of 16 clash finishing 1-1 after extra-time on Monday morning (AEST).
