Salim Mehajer arrested again over alleged bail breach

An alleged breach of bail has landed controversial businessman Salim Mehajer back in police custody, a month after he was granted bail for a separate matter.

Controversial Sydney businessman Salim Mehajer has appeared in court for allegedly breaching his bail conditions.

The 31-year-old was arrested at Bankstown Police Station about 10am Friday before appearing in Bankstown Local Court, a NSW Police spokeswoman told AAP.

Mehajer was then released again on court bail, with the matter adjourned to June 6.
