Senator Xenophon to quit Senate

Nick Xenophon has announced he will resign from the Senate to run for the seat of Hartley in the South Australian election.

Senator Xenophon says he will wait for the High Court decision on the dual citizenship status of politicians before running his South Australian campaign.

But he insists that he will run in the South Australian election no matter what.
