Sydney Airport glitch causes long queues

Sydney Airport is asking passengers to be patient after delays at security check points at its international and domestic terminals.

Passengers at Sydney Airport are facing major delays with "technical" issues affecting security checkpoints at both international and domestic terminals.

Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 have both been impacted, with long lines forming at both.

Qantas' domestic Terminal 3 has not been affected.

"We're working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and thank you for your patience," Sydney Airport said on Friday.
