Sydney Greeters is part of an international organisation which started in New York City in 1992.

It was set up by Lynn Brooks, who wanted to show visitors ‘her New York.’

Part of the International Greeters Network, it’s grown to 100 destinations worldwide, but remarkably only recently reached Sydney.

Now more than 50 ‘greeters’ in Sydney have met hundreds of guests, showing them everything from the clubs of Kings Cross, to explaining Sydney’s transport network.
