Syrian peace negotiations begin in Geneva after arrival of the Syrian government delegation

The eighth round of Syrian peace negotiations began on Wednesday with the arrival of delegation of Syrian government to Geneva, after it was delayed one day to protest the opposition's adherence to "preconditions," in reference to the demand to step down President Bashar al-Assad.
