A recent report revealed the name of the Australian city, with the highest cost of running a car

According to The Australian Automobile Association, Brisbane residents are at the top where they spend 19,745 annually on costs including car loans, petrol, Tolls , registration and maintenance costs. This means that Brisbane residents spend 17 percent of the family's income on their cars, which is five percent higher than that of Melbourne and Sydney.

Queensland's Minister of Transport and Roads, Mark Bailey, said his government would implement several programs and measures to reduce the cost of owning a car in the state capital by focusing on fuel prices and Tolls, which last year amounted to more than $ 629 million

It is worth noticing that the cost of using public transportation in Brisbane is an average of $ 54 per week compared to $ 380 for the use of the car
