The main Syrian Opposition group is expected to meet with the U-N mediator this weekend at peace talks in the Swiss capital

The Saudi backed High Negotiators Committee had earlier said it wouldn't join talks unless Syrian government forces ended their air strikes and blockades. The mediator has already held discussions with the Syrian government delegation.
