Thousands of lost, abandoned items to go under the hammer in Sydney's airport

Thousands of items abandoned at Sydney Airport, including alcohol, a violin and a telescope, are set to go under the hammer next week for the airport's annual Lost Property Auction. Every object will be sold for a starting price of just $1, with all the proceeds going to four charities: The Clontarf Foundation, Lifeline Australia, The Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation and Conservation Volunteers Australia.
