Trial locations for program to help mature Australian into the workforce

Five trial sites across the country have been identified by the federal government for their new Career Transitional Assistance Program, aimed at preparing mature-aged Australians either to re-skill or re-enter the workforce. The program is due to be rolled out nationally in 2020.

Emoticons provide a useful way to manage solidarity by softening requests and minimising impositions at the workplace.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, this time last year, the median time for a job-seeker to find employment was 21 weeks.

 

For the 55-to-64 age group, it's 10 weeks longer.
