UAE says four ships 'sabotaged' near port

The UAE says four vessels near its Fujairah port, one of the world's largest bunkering hubs, have been "sabotaged" - but gave no details of what had actually happened.

Four commercial vessels were targeted by "sabotage operations" near the territorial waters of the United Arab Emirates without causing casualties, the UAE foreign ministry has said in a statement.

The incident occurred near the UAE emirate of Fujairah, it said, one of the world's largest bunkering hubs which lies just outside the Strait of Hormuz.
