Washington strengthens relations with Qatar in midst of Gulf crisis

The United States has stepped up its "strategic" partnership with Qatar, which has been praised for its efforts to combat terrorism, months after President Donald Trump's harsh criticism on the ongoing row between Doha and Riyadh, Washington's Middle East ally.
