A study by Monash University's Castan Centre for Human Rights Law found 15 per cent of families had difficulty enrolling their disabled child in a mainstream state school


The report dealt with the experiences of parents whose kids were refused enrollment in public schools. Schools justified this move by not having adequate funding to provide the required care for students with disabilities.
