Graham Arnold will take over as Socceroos coach later this year. Present coach, Dutchman Bert van Marwijk, (von mar-fake)is only under contract for this year's World Cup. Arnold will leave his present job at A-League champions Sydney F-C at the end of this A-League season. He has been given a four-year contract that will take him through to the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup. A former Socceroo himself, Arnold has previously served as an assistant coach of the team, and also as coach of the team in 2006 and 2007, between the reigns of Dutchmen Guus (hoos) Hiddink and Pim Verbeek (ver-BAKE). Whilst that tenure ended poorly, Arnold says he's very confident he'll do better this time around.
