These centers often work with immigrant families, women and pre-school children.It provide participants with information about the different services available in their area such as education, health, settlement…etc.These centers are located in public schools in different parts of each state. Schools have been selected because its considered to be the most familiar and friendly places for all.One of the most important opportunities that Hubs can offer is making friends. Families can also get support from social organisations for settlement, employment and sense of belonging.Mothers, fathers can also participate as volunteers, which can lead them to a job opportunity in the future.Maram Ismail interviewed NSW Community Hub Manager Fatimah Al Kouroush to tell us more about NSW Hub.
