Abdul Aziz describes the situation in Manus detention centre after cutting off the water and power in Foxtrot compound. He says the lack of water in general and in toilets in particular is causing health problems. The detainees have been organising peaceful protests demanding the return of power and water.

Abdul Aziz said in this interview that they have sent a letter to media organisation around the world and to the International Criminal Court about their situation and demands.

He said they are not going to give in to the pressure to leave the centre where they are now and which deemed unconsitutional by the High Court in PNG, and go to the Transit Centre in Laurengau, because this would mean staying in PNG indefinitely.
