Is the world serious about stopping the displacement of millions from their homes every year?

Tuesday 20 June marks the annual International Refugee Day, and this week is Refugee Week in Australia.

The United Nations uses this day to remind the world about what is happening and to spread a hash to sympathize with the refugees situation.

According to the United Nations refugee agency, there are currently 65 million refugees spread in the world.

Their numbers are increasing every day as war, famine and poverty continue to grow in different parts of the world.

Australia hosts a few thousand of them, while residence visas are blocked by thousands of others arriving by boat.

What is required to end the uprooting of people from their lands?
