Senior federal government ministers are again being made to defend the Prime Minister's leadership amidst a demand for his resignation from his own side of politics. In an interview on Sydney radio 2GB, New South Wales Deputy Premier John Barilaro described Mr Turnbull as completely out of touch adding his party and the government were unified and in disarray. Mr Barilaro is the highest-ranking coalition M-P in the nation to so far demand Mr Turnbull step down as Prime Minister. But Mr Turnbull's deputy in the federal Liberal Party, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop, says the Prime Minister is dealing with the problems of everyday Australians, and there's no concern within the government over his leadership.
