We are continuing our series celebrating the 50th anniversary of SBS Armenian. Today, we focus on the life of Dr Antranig Chalabian, (1922 – 2011).
Originally from Kessab, Dr Chalabian made his mark as both a historian and a medical illustrator, enriching academic circles and Armenian communities worldwide.
Throughout his lifetime, Dr Chalabian wrote many books and articles that brought important figures and events in Armenian history to light.
In 1990’s, I was fortunate to connect with Dr Chalabian and interview him about his renowned books, General Andranik and the Armenian Revolutionary Movement and Armenia After the Coming of Islam.
