Armenia's Political Landscape: Tensions Rise Ahead of 2026 Elections
The political atmosphere in Armenia continues to be tense, especially after the recent steps taken by the government, which caused discontent among both local citizens and the Armenian diaspora. To get an idea of the current atmosphere before next year's elections, I talked to Len Wicks and Armine Hakobyan, who have recently returned from Armenia. I have previously discussed topics with Len and Armine such as the Areni Lodge and Cultural Precinct, and the challenges facing the forcibly displaced population from Artsakh.
