Due to Corona virus and social distancing measure, about hundred people attended the funeral. It was an emotional and sad service held at St Hermized Cathedral at Greenfield Park Sydney.
The service was attended by HB Mar Meelis Zaia Metropolitan of the Assyrian Church of the East, Mar Amil Nona, Bishop of the Chaldean Catholic Church and Mar Yacob Daniel, Metropolitan of Ancient Church of the East and number of priests and deacons.
After the service, people headed to the Pinegrove Memorial Park, and there he was laid to rest.
