50 years serving the Assyrian community in Australia

Editorial committee member of the Australian Assyrian History Book, Joseph Joseph, said that the establishment of the Assyrian Australian Association was an important stage in the life of the community. It played an important role in preserving the culture and traditions of their ancestors, as well as teaching their children their mother tongue. He hopes that other Assyrian institutions can also document their history and community in other places. The book will be released at a book launch, on Saturday (November 23rd) in Eden Hall (formerly Nineveh Club), featuring performances from singers Albert Pet Yunnan, Carmelan and Charles Thomas
