Arabic-speaking backgrounds linked to more aggressive breast cancers

One in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 85, according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. Most of them will survive, thanks to efficient screening processes. But a new study has discovered women from an Arabic-speaking background are presenting with more aggressive, further developed breast cancers.
