Shamiram Slewa-Younan is an Associate Professor in Mental Health at the School of Medicine, Western Sydney University and she is Honorary Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Mental Health, University of Melbourne and Adjunct Fellow, at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, USA. She specialises in mental health and trauma on refugees. she was born in Sydney from Assyrian migrant parents and spent most of her life studding Psychology. She talks about her achievements and also explains the mental health issues effecting refugees
