Assyria Cup 2017 will be held at the grounds of Nineveh club from 29 September and for 4 days. Twelve teams representing Assyrian clubs from Sydney and Melbourne will be competing in this tournament.Councillor Charbel Saliba is the business manager of Assyrian Cultural Club which is hosting this year's competition. He told SBS " this athletic occasion creates an atmosphere of unity and joy among members of the community".
