Because of COVID-19 restrictions, and after a year of closoure, the Assyrian language college reopens for teaching Assyrian language for adults and youth on Monday 15/2/2021.
Mr Beyamin Benyamin, one of the founders and a teacher at the college, told SBS that registration is already open and over 30 new students have registered.
the college teaches Assyrian language and grammar to beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
Last period, Mr Benyamin says, we had over 170 students at the start, but during the course of the year, attendees started dwindling for many reasons, as many young people have university studies, work, or other commitments.
This year, Mr. Benyamin hopes for a bigger registration and more students especially the youth.
