The Assyrian Art Institute, based in California is founded to promote the Assyrian name by showcasing the work and performances of professional Assyrian artists. Their latest project is the establishment of Assyrian children's choir.
SBS Assyrian met the founder of Assyrian Art Institute Mrs Nora Betyousif Lacey to talk about this project. Also in this interview, two of the choir's principle instructors and coordinators, Sveenie Betsargis and Leah Sayad who talk about the big task of forming the choir, training teaching and producing a virtual song for this Christmas by the Children's choir.
