Christians in the Middle East have contributed enormously to the Arab world and participated in the preservation of the Arabic language
Researcher and activist Youhana Bidaweed will be presenting a lecture titled (Christian intellectuals in the twentieth century). he will be talking about the role Christians played in enhancing and developing the Arabic literature and language. He says many Christian academic had great love and passion to Arab nationalism and many of them helped to preserve the Arabic identity after the collapse of the Ottoman empire.
In the lecture which will be held at the St George Chaldean church's hall on Friday 21Feb in Melbourne, Mr Bidaweed will be talking about tens of scholars and intellectuals from our nation and from other Christians of the Middle East.
