After been selected to join the Football United team, Noor Hanteia and Dalin Koro are off to Russia as part of a four players team representing Australia in The FIFA Foundation Festival in Russia. In an exclusive interview to SBS Assyrian, both showed their enthusiasm and excitement to be part of the delegation to meet and interact with more than 200 youth from around the world.
The FIFA Foundation Festival 2018 is an official event of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, which brings together 48 delegations of young leaders (approximately 200 Youth) from Football for Hope supported organisations.
The Festival demonstrates to the football world as well as to the general public the impact that football can have in pursuing developmental goals such as education, health promotion, peace- building, social integration and youth leadership and, at the same time, it is an exhibition of fair play, football passion and cultural diversity as reflected by the varied origins of the participating organisations and their delegations.
