"G'day mate" is an introduction to the Australian way of life, the language, culture, food and sport. It is inspired by SBS Arabic24's podcast 'Australia explained' by Maram Ismael.
This is a new segment in the Assyrian program that will explain life in Australia.
Many new arrivals from migrants, refugees, and even visitors find it a bit hard at the beginning to understand Australian English, the terms, words, the way of life, sports, food, arts, and politics.
But at the end of the day, everyone realises Australia is the land for all. Some call it paradise on earth. It gives everyone the opportunity to live as equals, be respected, be free and live in peace.
