Co-writer of the documentary, Mr Jessi Arabou says "at ACSYA, we believe that our identity is threatened by the academic world. Most of the Assyrian films, documentaries, history literature, are produced or written by non-Assyrians."
Mr Arabou believes this material is a historical misleading or untruthful interpretation of the Assyrian identity and is made or written by some scholars that did not have an understanding of the Assyrian nation's culture, tradition and history.
Co-Producer Ramy Jajo says in this project, we interviewed Assyrian academics like Dr Efram Yildiz , an Assyrian academic residing in Spain. Dr Nikolas Al-Jeelo, an Assyrian-Australian academic who currently resides in Turkey.
The production team also interviewed archaeologist Miss Ninweh Yacou, from Australia. Mr Jajo proudly says this documentary is purely produced by Assyrians from an Assyrian perspective.

Mr Jajo says we want this documentary to be a bit different. It is not like watching a movie and then you forget about it. Many people will have many unanswered questions in their minds. Mr jajo asserts.
Mr Jajo says after the premiere, we will have a discussion panel consisting of many academics, to answer questions related to the content of this documentary.
The premier will be held at the Hoyts Cinema at Wetherill Park in the Middle of April 2021
