Activist Emil Gharib spoke to SBS about the reaction and support of the Iraqi organisations in Sydney towards the latest events in Baghdad and Iraq. He says a joint committee of Iraqi organisations was formed to bring one voice in support of the demonstrators in Iraq. A rally was organised in a hall instead rallying on the streets. Two MPs were invited and they promised to pass the message of the Iraqi community concerns to the Australian Parliament
