Ninweta Brikha is a third-year student doing her Bachelor degree in Management and economics at the University of Duhok. She started a mobile library that can move from place to place, giving the opportunity to many people to expand their knowledge and language skills
Naseem Sadiq interviewed Miss Brikha about her project the challenges and support she has received.
Miss Brikha said the idea came after MMC and the university of Duhok started a project which involves the students to come with an idea to create a business model. Students were given a small budget to run their projects.

Miss Brikha says that she had big ideas but considering her budget, she focused on the Ishtar Library.
the library at this stage consists of 50 books. The book shelf is transported by a van to different locations. People can borrow books, but they must return them as soon as they finish reading them.

Miss Brikha says"We ask borrowers to give us one of their books to be included in the library and be borrowed by other readers".
Miss Brikha says she chose the name of Ishtar because Ishtar is the symbol of beauty and love. she is one of the first Goddesses of our ancestral nation that she is proud of.
