Social, financial problems and raising children lead to boredom and disturb sleep and eating, in addition to Feel physical pain and a change in mood. However there is strategies help us to take care of ourselves.


The consultant, Dayana Yakho said:” It is very important that we devote some time to ourselves and pay attention to our feelings, thoughts and bodies.”

She added that our concern for ourselves restores some energy and strength to overcoming our anxiety and perhaps our negative thinking.

Ms. Yakho stressed that our culture may see this as a difficult matter, or as selfish behavior, especially mothers, as they feel that their time should be devoted entirely to children, and forget that our concern for ourselves is for having ability to take care of others as well.

She stressed that there are ways and methods such as practice mindfulness, using relaxation technique, and using other strategies such as writing our negative thoughts on a paper and then destroying them, that will help us to get rid of the pressure of negative thoughts.

She added that it is necessary to know our capabilities and exclude ideas that detract from our ability to solve our problems and go to reading books that help to cultivate self-confidence.
