Mr. Zaya Zaya of the Assyrian Democratic Movement Sydney Branch says Martyrs Day coincides with continuing tragedies of our nation and homeland. This years Martyrs Day memorial ceremony will be held on Sunday 7th August 2016 at Edessa Hall at St Hurmizd Cathedral. We bow our heads in respect for the sacrifices of the Martyrs.
