Melbourne's Assyrian community to celebrate the Babylonian-Assyrian New Year

Mr Shamuel Mikhael, the vice president of the Australian Assyrian Arts and Literature Foundation, told SBS Assyrian that after many years working separately, most of the Assyrian community establishments and political parties are joining together to celebrate the Assyrian New Year on Monday, 1 April, at Craigieburn Anzac Park. entry is free and many figures from state and local governments will attend the celebration.
