The Assyrian Sports and Cultural Club has experienced many difficulties throughout the years since it's establishment in 1970. Mr. Assur Jako, president of the committee Board says the club was established to serve the Assyrian community in Sydney. He added the club always supported our people who were displaced and fled their homeland. He said nine members from eighteen candidates were elected to the new board on Sunday, November 24, 2019 and newly elected board has important plans for the club for the next two years.
