Nineb Lamassu "I will defend the accusations against me"

Activist and poet Nineb Lamassu works in Iraq as Peace adviser to the non government organisation Un Ponte Per (A Bridge to). This humanitarian organisation works on many projects especially the ones that promote social cohesion and peace education . Nineb believes he can serve the Assyrian people better by working for them but not with them.

Mr Nineb Lamassu has been working with the organisation for almost a year. Currently he’s been promoted to head of mission in Iraq.

Nineb says that working with this organisation and specifically in the Nineveh plains gives him the opportunity to serve the Assyrian nation in a better way and gives him satisfaction as to his reasons to return to Iraq.

When asked about the accusations against him in regards to an article published in a website blaming him for being misleading and deceptive, Mr Lamassu said that he is about to release a video on social media defending himself against these accusations and revealing the truth.
