'Remarkable generosity': $1 million raised after wedding tragedy

The Assyrian Aid Society chapters in Australia, the USA, Canada, and Iraq have joined forces and raised $1 million in three days for the victims of the Baghdede wedding tragedy. Peter Esho, the president of the AAS- Australian chapter, expressed great pride in global Assyrian communities for their remarkable generosity and support for this cause.
