Latif Pola from city of Al-Qosh ( Nortren of Iraq) is a poet, writer, composer, musician and singer, also an actor and journalist said he has a lot of books and lyric albums in Syriac and Arabic. He writes in a literary language drawn from the heritage of our people in various villages.


Mr Pola said that for years, he has been researching the Assyrian heritage and presenting it in various ways to reach the public in an easy and understood methods.

He added that today's generations of young people are no longer able to understand some of the vocabulary that we have, despite their beauty, and I always try to collect them to be used in our poems, writings and games.

He said that I have friends from different countries who read the translations of my writings and praise them and also wonder that there are still descendants of the Babylon and Assyria people who live today and have this rich heritage
