Qantas resists activist pressure over carrying asylum-seekers for deportation

Refugee activists say they'll target more airlines over carrying asylum-seekers for deportation, despite Qantas shareholders rejecting a bid to put an end to the practice. A motion put to the Qantas A-G-M was overwhelmingly voted down as protestors picketed outside the meeting in Brisbane.
