Muna Kanoon have been working with the Library for more than 13 years. she reads stories for children in the Assyrian and English at the same time.
when Muna started, she couldn't find any Assyrian children's books, she started reading stories from English books with Assyrian translation in a simple and understandable way. Muna said that at the beginning , she couldn’t read Assyrian, she learned reading and writing Assyrian by herself and that helped her to be more expressive in her presentation. Muna uses different tones and facial expressions to make the story reading more interesting to children.
