Syriac Language Department to be created in Baghdad

Dr Robin Bet-Shmouel, an Assyrian linguist renowned for his Syriac language and culture expertise, has commenced his tenure with the Iraqi Scientist Committee in Baghdad. Bet-Shmuel says he plans to establish the Syriac Language Department, which will oversee various literature and language-related committees.
