On the ongoing preparations for this big day, Mr. David David, coordinator and official of the Preparatory Committee, said that this celebration will be held at Fairfield Showground From ten in the morning until ten at night.
Assyrians around the world are waiting for this day, As it is the largest celebration in Diaspora.
Mr David says “We work with limited resources, yet the results are satisfactory and joyful for all people, as it is a day for all family members.
This year we are working to add electronic fireworks on the stage, and we prepare for better lighting effects and to be more subtle and distinctive.
He said that our concern is the official opening of this great feast for our nation, as representatives of the federal, state and local governments will be with us to share our joy. from Canberra,
We want the opening to be a fun show and an opportunity to inform our guests and the world about the conditions our people live in their mother countries.
We are keen that our guests and the people of our nation see a wonderful picture of the history, heritage and values of the Assyrian nation despite our limited resources.
