The commemoration of Assyrian Martyrs Day

SBS Assyrian spoke to Jaqueline Gorges, the secretary of the Assyrian coalition parties in Australia, about commemorating Assyrian Martyrs Day on Sunday, 7 August 2022. She said that, unfortunately, despite the many attempts to make this day a day for unity between all Assyrian organisations, not everyone was willing to do that; therefore this commemoration will be held at different times and days.
