Some people report feeling great emptiness in their lives as a result of staying at home, so doing even a few things in the day to take care of their mental health could help them ward off those feelings.

Social activist, social worker and PhD student, Michelle Samuel Al-Kasrany said that it is important that we do not forget the presence of spirituality in our lives, and its ability to move us away from fear. She added that setting a plan for what we do during the week and allocating time for walking or exercising at home will help us avoid boredom. She drew attention to the wide range of videos on the internet that teach light exercise and dance, for example. She called for people at home to take on a hobby, or to learn something new.
